    As of April 1, many social benefits, some of which concern the family, were increased. Are you concerned?

    Good news. Like every year, on April 1, social assistance was increased, by around 4.6%, as announced by Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy last September. Here are the new amounts of family benefits to which you can claim.

    Family allowances

    Family allowances are paid to people with at least 2 dependent children under the age of 20. The amount of benefits depends on resources, the number of dependent children and their age. Since April 1, here are the services displayed:

    • Couple with 2 children and income less than €74,966 per year: 148.5 euros;
    • Couple with 2 children and income less than €99,922 per year: 74.26 euros;
    • Couple with 2 children and income above €99,922 per year: 37.1 euros;
    • Couple with 3 children and income less than €74,966 per year: 338.8 euros, then 190.3 euros per additional child;
    • Couple with 3 children and income less than €99,922 per year: 169.4 euros, then 95.15 euros per additional child;
    • Couple with 3 children and income above €99,922 per year: 84.7 euros, then 47.6 euros per additional child.

    Birth bonus or adoption bonus

    Paid in the seventh month of pregnancy, the birth bonus has been 1066.29 euros since this month. The adoption premium now amounts to 2038.86 euros.

    Shared child education benefit

    The shared child education benefit, or PreParE, is the name of the compensation paid in the event of parental leave. From now on, it will be 448.42 euros per month for parents who have completely ceased their professional activity, and 289.88 euros for those who have continued to work less than or equal to half-time.

    Back-to-school allowance

    Paid in August, the back-to-school allowance (ARS) is also affected by the revaluation.

    • For children aged 6 to 10, its new amount is 406.98 euros;
    • For students aged 11 to 14, it is 436.37 euros;
    • For students aged 15 to 18, it increases to 454.59 euros.

    Education allowance for disabled children

    The basic amount excluding the AEEH supplement has been 149.26 euros since April 1 compared to 142.70 euros before.

    Daily parental presence allowance

    Parents caring for their sick, injured or disabled child can benefit from the daily parental presence allowance in the amount of 65.81 euros per day.

    Allowance for disabled adults

    The AAH goes from 971.37 euros per month to 1016 euros.

    Active solidarity income

    The RSA depends on the composition of the household.

    • For a single person, it will increase from 607.75 to 635.71 euros. ;
    • A beneficiary in a couple without children or a single person with a child will receive 935.56 euros. ;
    • Couples with a child will receive 1,144.28 euros per month.
