What is the best movie of all time? A tiresome question for all cinephiles. But countless IMDb users have actually been able to agree on one masterpiece for years: The Convicts by director Frank Darabont is the crowning glory of film history. Darabont has been withdrawn from Hollywood for years. And is now set to return for season 5 of the Netflix series Stranger Things.
Netflix brings master Stranger Things director back from 10-year hiatus
As film journalist Jeff Sneider reports on Theinsneider, Darabont is currently negotiating with Netflix Directed two Season 5 episodes of Stranger Things. Sneider is considered a well-informed insider whose exclusive revelations often turn out to be fact.

It is not yet known what episodes these are or what the story of the episodes is. Darabont last came into the public eye in 2013 with the series Mob City and in the meantime only worked as an unnamed writer on films like The Huntsman & The Ice Queen. His films are considered an inspiration, particularly for the early Stranger Things seasons.
When is Stranger Things season 5 coming to Netflix?
An exact start date for the final season of Stranger Things has not yet been set. Since filming doesn’t start until January 2024, Season 5 no earlier than 2025 appear. The new episodes of the Netflix hit will probably take place after a long time jump.
