In the coming year, Nadya will move with her family from Utrecht to Doorn and she will continue to visit her parents as long as she can. She hopes for continued support from the West for Ukraine and for victory in 2024. “The support and weapons from the West are very important, without this support Ukraine will not survive,” said Nadya. “I really hope for the victory and that we can cry with happiness instead of sadness. Just like my grandmother, who witnessed the victory day of the Second World War and regularly shed tears of joy.”
