Wagner defector was caught in Sweden claims he was

The former Wagner soldier who fled to Norway plans to assist the authorities in finding out the real identities of the executioners.

A former Wagner fighter who fled to Norway and sought asylum there Andrey Medvedev has said that he knows the Russian soldiers appearing in the gruesome execution videos, The Kiev Independent (you will switch to another service) tells.

At least two shocking videos have circulated on social media showing the heads of Ukrainian soldiers being cut off or about to be cut off. In one of the videos, you can see how a Russian soldier apparently cuts off the head of a Ukrainian prisoner of war with a knife. The sound at the beginning of the video may mean that the prisoner is still alive when the gruesome execution begins.

Now Medvedev tells the Russian opposition media that he recognizes the Russian soldiers appearing in the video, with whom he says he had personal dealings in the past.

Founder of the Russian site Gulagu.net Vladimir Osechkin says that he discussed the videos with Medvedev during the Khodorkovsky Live broadcast on YouTube.

– He says with certainty that he recognizes his ex-colleagues appearing in the video. He can tell that they are soldiers of Wagner’s private army, based on their call signs, the way they speak, and the radio messages they send, Osechkin states.

Osechkin says that Medvedev plans to assist the authorities in finding out the real identities of the executioners.
