– The race is far from over, Haley told his supporters.
Haley congratulated Trump but said she would keep fighting and challenged the former president to a debate.
Governor of Florida Ron DeSantis dropped out of the Republican race over the weekend, despite narrowly edging Haley in the first primary in Iowa last week.
The small states that start the primary cycle are significant because clear wins at the beginning lead to success later on as well.
A sitting President of the United States Joe Biden is winning the state’s Democratic primaries again, news channels predict, among other things CNN and NBC News.
Biden’s name was not actually found on the Democratic primary lists in New Hampshire. However, in addition to the 21 candidates, the ballots had the option to write their own candidate’s name, and Biden’s supporters could use this option to vote for the president.
However, according to CNN, the victory is largely symbolic, as Biden had not officially registered to run in the New Hampshire primaries. The background of the case is a dispute over the primary election calendar drawn up by the Democratic Party, which the state defied. Biden practically has no worthy opponents in the Democratic candidate field.
