An employee at the Attunda district court is in custody on suspicion of having leaked confidential information.

The indictment against her is expected to come at the end of the week.

As Aftonbladet previously revealed, the woman is connected to the infamous Tureberg network, which is located on Malmvägen in Sollentuna.

Episode two of the podcast “Gängen”, which is released today, is about that particular network.

An employee at the Attunda district court was detained a few weeks ago. She is suspected of having leaked secret information.

It is a serious breach of confidentiality and a serious data breach.

Aftonbladet has previously been able to reveal that the 32-year-old woman is connected to the infamous Tureberg network in Sollentuna.

Easing of the restrictions

During the time in custody, the woman has been eased in the restrictions, according to information to Aftonbladet. Among other things, she must have received visitors.

She is also said to have received permission for what is called “electronic communication”, which includes telephone calls, Aftonbladet learns.

An indictment against her is expected to come on Friday.

In his petition for arrest, the prosecutor has described the crime the woman is suspected of as “threatening the system”.

The woman is connected to the Tureberg network because she had close contact with a person who is deemed to belong to the leadership layer of the network.

The gang is based on Malmvägen in Sollentuna and is one of Sweden’s oldest criminal networks.

It is only in recent years that the police have taken seriously the problems in the area.

Two networked convicts

Today, episode two of the podcast “Gängen” is released, which is a collaboration between Podme and Aftonbladet.

The episode is about the Tureberg network. How they initially established themselves, how their operations have looked over the years – and how a major police operation against the network that was carried out last year went about.

Several leading people in the network were arrested last year – but the crime continues.

Two gang members, a man in his 20s and a man in his 30s, were recently sentenced to prison terms for a long string of crimes.

The men who were sentenced received five years in prison each for, among other things, robbery, drug offences, assault in court proceedings, weapons offenses and attempted aggravated extortion.

The verdict against them was handed down in the Svea Court of Appeal barely a month ago.

Leader and executor

According to the police, the older of the men belongs to the leadership layer, while the younger is supposed to be a so-called “executor”.

In the judgment, it is written that the prosecutor claimed that the two defendants are “part of a criminal network in Sollentuna called the Tureberg network and claimed that the defendants in several of the accused acts threatened the plaintiffs by alluding to the network’s capital of violence”.

Stephan Kiernan, who is the local police area manager in Sollentuna, takes part in this week’s episode of “Gängen”.

He was also a witness in the trial against the two gang members that led to the prison sentence.

Family-based network

Kiernan’s testimony about the network is reproduced in the judgment. The following is written:

“The grouping consists of approximately 70 to 80 people and has a leadership layer of two to five people. The network is partly family-based and parts of the leadership layer have a common family base. Over time, the network has had territorial control and control over drug handling in the area. They have a large capital of violence, have access to weapons and are involved in conflicts. Many in the area are affected by it and choose not to testify if they are exposed to or witness crimes. There are examples of assaults or weapon handling in the open street where no one calls the police”.

This week’s episode of the podcast “Gängen” is about the infamous Tureberg network which is located on Malmvägen in Sollentuna.

Stephan Kiernan, local police area manager in Sollentuna, who testified in the case against the two robbers, appears in the episode.
