The Tudelano squad denounces no physios no salaries no one

The Tudelano squad, with the help of AFE, has issued a harsh statement denouncing the situation they are going through. The team will descend in the next dates, being 14 from salvation with only five days ahead. They have not wanted to make excuses about their sports performance and have even made self-criticism for not having lived up to Primera RFEF. Even so, they have wanted to openly report extreme circumstances, such as not having a physiotherapist, except on match days when the professional goes of his own free will and without receiving a single euro for his services. Also that there is no treatment on the lawn, that long trips are made and on the same day… The most serious thing is that they have not received their payroll for three months, without being paid the rent of their houses and without any representative of the entity in the country, which makes communication and a hopeful future extremely difficult. With the descent about to be completed, it is unknown what will happen to the team… This is the common message of the first team:

Through this statement, the first team of CD Tudelano and the coaching staff want to expose and publicly denounce the serious situation we are experiencing and that we consider unacceptable.

Currently, the club owes us about three months’ salary, as well as the promotion bonus to 1st RFEF from last season, which means that day-to-day life becomes unsustainable, given that we can barely meet our daily expenses .

Since the beginning of the season we have felt a total abandonment by the people who run and manage the club, without having any kind of support or information throughout the season.

We have had two sports directors; the first, Guille Pereira, left the club a month after the preseason began and we never heard from him again and, in November, a trusted man from the Mexican investor (Cristian Barrientos) replaced him, but in March he returned to Mexico, for no reason , leaving us totally alone, without any representative of the club in Spain. On the other hand, fellow investor Raúl Sánchez, after notifying us that there were problems paying, went to Argentina with his son, Matías Sánchez, a member of the first team.

On the other hand, the grass of our stadium has not been treated once by a professional throughout the season and it is our kit man who, a few days before playing a match, is in charge of conditioning it in the best possible way without any help or media.

We have trained in five different training camps and have taken bus trips in the day of more than five hours to play a match and then return home. Also, throughout the season we have had three different goalkeeping coaches and at times, none.

In recent months the situation has worsened considerably. Thus, in recent games we have not known until the last moment if we could travel to play them.

We have been without a physiotherapist for a month to treat us on a day-to-day basis, he only comes exclusively to the games and of his own free will. The club, despite the commitment made to us, has stopped paying our rent.

For all these reasons, several colleagues are in a psychological and economic situation that prevents them from effectively performing their work as players.

Different agreements have not been fulfilled, leaving several footballers in a very delicate situation, since what was negotiated and promised at the time has not been fulfilled.

We want to make it clear that the squad, from the beginning of this season and despite the situation it has suffered, has always acted with total professionalism, seeking the good of CD Tudelano and with the aim of collaborating in resolving this situation.

Our commitment to the club is total, training every day and competing in every game with the utmost professionalism. We only demand decent conditions to be able to carry out our work.

With this statement we want our situation to be known and the difficulties we have had throughout the season to carry out our profession, without making any excuses and being aware that we are the main responsible for everything that happened on the pitch. , knowing that we have not lived up to the competition or the expectations.

Finally, we appreciate the constant support and daily work carried out by the Association of Spanish Soccer Players, at all times aware of our situation to find a satisfactory solution.“.
