Samuelsson’s words

But in his 40s, the Swedish muscle knot chose to end his career in strongman and there is a tragic reason why he put an end to muscle building.
– Partly, my body started to whisper that maybe it was time, but what made me really quit was probably that my friend Niklas disappeared from my life, that my brother had stopped competing and that the wife was at home with the children. When I didn’t have anyone to share the competition with anymore, it wasn’t as fun anymore, he says in an interview with the local newspaper Corren.

“Greatest achievement”

After that, we got to see the Swedish Viking as an actor in several different TV series and films.
– Through all the years I have certainly done things that are challenging and exciting, but I have always found myself in the right forum, in my own industry. Now it was the first time I felt really uncomfortable, and it was very helpful. That is probably why, after my participation, I have been attracted to acting, he says in the interview.

Today, he still lives in little Tidersrum with his wife Kristin Samuelsson and adult children David and Sara. And it is precisely the family that Magnus highlights as the most important thing to him.
– The children, and the trip I have made with my wife, are my greatest achievement, he tells the newspaper and looks ahead.
– I enjoy life quite well, as it is, maybe I should cut back on work a little, but we will stay in Tidersrum.
