A 28 -year -old man, accused of having pushed teenagers to film herself to torture and have broadcast the images, must be tried from Monday, March 3 at the Paris Criminal Court. The suspect never met the victims.

A 28 -year -old man, Rohan H., must be tried for “act of torture and barbarism”, “corruption of miners in organized gang” and “extortion in an organized gang”, this Monday, March 3 before the Paris criminal court. The suspect would have pushed young girls to torture and post the images on the online platform Discord between 2019 and 2021.
The individual, of Indian origin, was arrested in Antibes, in the Alpes-Maritimes, in April 2021 by the French authorities, after a report made with the FBI. At the time, several videos of bare young girls and with the body covered with inscriptions such as swastikas or the name “Rohan”, made with felt or by scarifications, were discovered online. These teenage girls are staged masturbating with brunt or sharp objects such as a blade of knives, strangle, drown in the toilet bowl, or drink urine or bleach. All say they act under the orders and the threat of an individual using several email addresses, some of which have led to Rohan H ..
A manipulation manual
The arrest of the suspect and the investigation make it possible to understand the operating mode of the individual who describes himself as a “guru”. It uses several manipulation techniques which it includes in a manual called “How to get a girl” and target of young girls with specific profiles: fragile, isolated minors. The beliefs and origins of the victims also seem to be selection factors for the suspect.
According to the elements of the investigation, Rohan H. approaches young girls who evoke their sorrows on discussion forums and addresses them with a pleasant speech to gain their confidence, obtain photos of them and encourage them to register on a Discord group which he administers. A contact deciphered by Samuel Fillle, psychologist and director of operations of the E-Enfance association in a podcast of Bfmtv : “We will get to know each other, we will exchange, we will obviously look very friendly, share things in common with the potential victim so that this relationship becomes pleasant.”
Once enough personal information collected – the address and name of the victim’s parents or those of his school – the suspect puts pressure on the young girl and forces her to the worst acts of torture by threatening her to reveal everything or disseminate images if she does not obey, still according to the conclusions of the investigation. Psychologist Samuel Fillle explains that when confidence is established, the victim is in “relational comfort” and will “have trouble getting rid of it” and say “no” to the abuser. “There is a kind of no return and an excitement phenomenon that makes the victim continue to send his photos,” added the specialist.
The suspect says he is “psychopath” and fascinated by violence
Rohan H. told investigators during his custody that the young girls on videos were major and consenting. He said that the practices were scripted, as well as the expressions of suffering and terror on the face of the victims. He ended up admitting having forced several teenage girls to masturbate with objects that can hurt them dangerously. In his manual “How to get a girl”, Rohan H. writes having manipulated more than 200 victims. The investigation has so far identified 12 young girls who have been manipulated and pushed to torture in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, New Zealand and Estonia. All are between 11 and 16 years old.
Placed in pre -trial detention after his arrest in 2021, Rohan H. would have continued his activities since his detention thanks to a mobile phone. In this case, the victims were abused without ever having met the suspect physically noted the lawyer for Rohan H., Me Simon Olivennes with Bfmtv. The latter describes the suspect as “a man who has a part of mystery and secret” being able to be linked “to trauma” lived during his childhood in India. Arrived in France in 2016 for studies, the suspect recognizes a fascination for violence. He also said he registered on Discord in 2020 to participate in virtual sessions of sadomasochism and watch videos of murders and scarifications. He considers himself as “psychopath”, although no psychiatric disturbance has been discovered.
