The super trick – you’ll be cold in the summer heat

Of course, the long, hot summer days are lovely, but when the temperature starts to approach 28 degrees and above, it can get sweaty – especially if you have nowhere to jump in the pool. But there is a simple trick that can help.

Rinse strategically

Everyone knows that it feels refreshing to cool off with water when it’s hot, but did you know that there are specific points on the body where cold water can have an even greater effect? These are called pulse points and are found in places where the blood vessels are closer to the surface of the skin, making it easier for cold to penetrate and lower your body temperature.

Pulse points can be found, among other things, on the inside of the wrists and armpits and on the side of the neck, according to Britannica. They are also found on the back of the knees and at the temples. A quick rinse with cold water on these areas can do wonders for cooling down quickly.
