It was decided to evacuate 14,000 residents before the bomb was removed from its location. Lublin Municipality has prepared meeting places at three points for those evacuated from Bronowice and Kosminek districts in the west of Lublin.

It was stated that while there was an aircraft factory in the place where the bomb was found before the Second World War, the area in question was used by Nazi Germany as a prisoner and labor camp and for the selection and storage of the confiscated goods of the Jews. Bomb disposal experts continue to work on removing the 250 kilogram bomb. (UAV)
