Now all electoral districts will soon be counted and the 2022 election may be decided.

Kristersson’s team is currently the winner with 176 seats.

– I am now starting the work of leading a new effective government, says Ulf Kristersson on Facebook.

With only three mandates, it looks like the right-wing bloc will win the election with 176 mandates, while Magdalena Andersson’s team lands on 173 mandates.

Ulf Kristersson comments on the election results in a video on Facebook:

– The moderates and the other parties on my side have received the mandate for change that we asked for.

– I am now starting the work of forming a new effective government, he says.

The moderates proclaim electoral victory in their accounts on Facebook and Twitter.

“The voters have had their say – now we will get Sweden in order!”

But the first to declare election victory was the Christian Democrats’ Ebba Busch.

“We have an election result and the Swedish people have voted for a change of power! Now the work begins together with the other parties to put together a government. Me and my party will work to make Sweden better for everyone,” writes Busch on Instagram.

The Sweden Democrats and Jimmie Åkesson hook in shortly afterwards.

“Now the work begins to make Sweden good again,” writes the party leader on Instagram.
