– We have raised the prices a little on dishes where the prices of the ingredients have increased a lot. But some days we cannot keep the budget we have set, says Neyan Karvelas, owner of Eladi grill and delicatessen.
– We hear from our suppliers and wholesalers that all restaurants are crying. But for our part, we don’t know if it’s due to inflation or if it’s normal, since we opened in August, she continues.
“Worst in the last two months”
Greek grills and bars in central Västerås also feel that they have backed down financially.
– We have lost between 20-30 percent of customers. It has been worst during October and November. We have raised the prices by around ten percent from the first of October, says the restaurant’s owner Stefan Darhaido.
