According to the prosecutor, there is no natural reason for the landslide at E6 last fall.

– At the moment, that is our assessment, says Daniel Veivo Pettersson, chief prosecutor at the Prosecutor’s Chamber in Uddevalla, at a press conference.

There is suspicion that an activity “up on the heights” is the cause of the landslide. According to the prosecutor, there are several possible activities that may have contributed to the landslide.

Some of the companies are connected to each other, according to Veivo Pettersson.

Representatives of two companies have helped ensure that excavated masses have been placed on top. It is suspected that the excavated masses are partly in the rubble after the landslide.

– We have worked on calling in the business that is relevant, says Vievo Pettersson.
