The organizers of Paris-Roubaix have upgraded the bonuses allocated to competitors in the second edition compared to the men’s race. The winner of the women’s race will receive 20,000 euros on Saturday April 16, thirteen times more than the 1,535 euros paid last October to Briton Lizzie Deignan, winner of the first edition. The total prize pool will reach 50,000 euros, to be compared with the 90,000 euros for the men’s race on Sunday (30,000 euros for the winner). The Paris-Roubaix women’s race, which will bring together 24 teams, will have a distance of 124.7 kilometers, slightly increased compared to last year. Seventeen cobbled sections, for a total of 29.2 kilometers (the same as in 2021), are on the program.
