A 58-year-old man was attacked with a knife when he opened the door to his home in Bodafors in Jönköping County during the night of Wednesday.
– The door rang and when he opened it, a man stabbed him with a knife. He managed to get the man out of the apartment, but he was bleeding profusely from repulse injuries, says Markus Kron, officer on duty at police region East.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance, but the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Three men in their 30s were arrested nearby.
It is unknown if the perpetrators were previously acquainted with the victim.
