The police have decided that nappy bags are to be exempted from the bag ban after all.
The diaper bags will be searched, but may be taken if the child needs it, reports Sweden’s Radio Ekot.
– We have had a dialogue both before and after this introduction, with the event industry and the live industry. There have been different points of view, says Anna Engelbert at the Police’s national media center to Ekot.
– We have now made a decision to make exceptions for people with children who need a diaper bag.
From before, there is an exception for people who for medical reasons need to carry a bag with them.
