After The Walking Dead said goodbye with an emotional finale last year, the first spin-off of the Zombie high flyers, which has dominated domestic screens for the past decade. Fear the Walking Dead officially ends with Season 8. In just a few days the beginning of the end will begin.
How does the story end? We do not know that, yet. After all, Fear the Walking Dead exists no comic template, which will be filmed. Still, co-showrunner Ian Goldberg tells Insider what we can definitely look forward to. Fear the Walking Dead season 8 finally solves the great Madison mystery.
Fear the Walking Dead Finale: Season 8 finally sees how Madison survived the stadium
The character, played by Kim Dickens, was a main cast member of Fear the Walking Dead for the first few seasons before retiring from the series. In the 7th season she celebrated her comeback. However, one important question remained unsolved: how on earth did Madison escape from the zombie-infested stadium?
Goldberg says:
That’s a very important question that we’re going to address this season. We will answer how [Madison] the stadium could survive.

Goldberg doesn’t tell us one thing though: will there be a flashback or will Madison’s struggle for survival be explained in a retrospective dialogue? We’ll have to find that out for ourselves.
When does Fear the Walking Dead season 8 start in Germany?
Fear the Walking Dead Season 8 begins on May 14, 2023 in the US on AMC and AMC+. It is not yet clear when and how the new episodes will come to Germany. The previous seasons were released on Amazon Prime in time for the US launch.
