The new video of Armand Duplantis has the entire athletics world in awe – everyone is now saying the same thing: “My God!”

Armand Duplantis was millimeters from a new world record.
A new video now proves what incredible shape he is in.
Now Mondo is praised to the skies by followers.
“The best six-meter jump ever?”, writes one.

There was some concern about Armand Duplanti’s form ahead of last week’s competition in France. Before that gala, Mondo had competed on two occasions this year, and had not yet climbed over six meters. It was the first time since 2021 that Mondo went two consecutive races without reaching the dream limit.

Close to a new world record

Duplantis has been spoiling all pole vaulting enthusiasts with world records and milestones over the past few years. And during the All Star Perche gala in French Clermont-Ferrand, he showed that the weak results in the first two competitions of the season, both of which were indeed won, were mostly a coincidence. Mondo won the event in 6.02, which he managed in the first attempt.

Duplantis also attempted the world record height of 6.24 – and was then only millimeters away from passing. Mondo appeared to be a bit over the bar with his hips, but managed to make the bar shake just enough to make it fall. The competition was still a step in the right direction for Mondo, who now seems to be in great shape early in the season. And the hunt for a new world record is thus on, to say the least.

The video makes the followers amazed

After last week’s successful competition, Armand Duplantis himself posted a video of his jump when he managed 6.02 – and followers were not slow to praise him. In slow motion, it’s really clear how extremely far over the bar Duplantis actually was during the jump, and it proves what capacity Duplantis possesses, and that it’s only a matter of time before a new world record is written by him.

In the comments section of the video, tributes pour in from both followers and other pole vaulters, and everyone says the same thing.

“How much good does he really have there? My God,” writes one.

“Possibly the best 6.02 jump of all time,” writes another.

“No one else in the world can handle six meters so relaxed,” writes a third.
