Charlotte Kalla has put her skis aside for good.
Now the Olympic and World Cup gold hero is showing a completely new side of himself.
With an unexpected image that surprises all Swedes.
Few Swedish skiers are as successful and well-loved as himself Charlotte Kalla. She was the Swedes’ favorite on the ski slopes for many years and can look back on an absolutely fantastic career in cross-country skiing.
Called success
Kalla won a total of nine Olympic medals, making her Sweden’s top female Olympian in history. Add to that another 13 World Cup medals and an incredible 35 World Championship golds and you understand what an incomparable athlete we are talking about.

But in 2022, Charlotte chose to put her boots and skis on the famous shelf and give thanks. Many thought then that it would be a more peaceful existence for the skiing hero from Tärendö, but it was not to be.
Charlotte’s new life
Kalla has an intense year behind her as a “pensioner” with pregnancy and childbirth, participation in “Let’s Dance”, newly released book “Skam den som ger sig” and current with a newly started podcast “Vinterpasset”. The 36-year-old is very active in social media with his busy everyday life and shows off his projects.

Now Charlotte Kalla surprises all Swedes once again by showing a whole picture and a whole new side of herself. The skiing profile published a most unexpected picture of himself dressed in 20s-inspired clothes on Instagram, see it below.
“It is an honor to be able to grace the month of September in the calendar ‘Sagolika Kvinnor 2024’. A very nice project that supports Fryshusets Barn for single mothers”, writes Kalla and proudly displays the result of her model image.
