The new news about Kristoffer Olsson after everyone’s worries – the doctors reveal what really happened

National team player Kristoffer Olsson has suffered from several small blood clots on both sides of the brain.
His condition is considered to be stable and the 28-year-old is still being treated in a hospital in Denmark.

The blood clots have arisen after an extremely unusual inflammatory condition in the vessels of the brain, according to the football star’s Danish club Midtjylland.

Kristoffer Olsson’s condition is considered to be stable. The doctors continue to see little progress and the 28-year-old is showing an increasing degree of consciousness.

Olsson’s condition

In the near future, the doctors will wean Olsson off the ventilator he has been on. The Swede remains in the intensive care unit and there is still uncertainty about how long he will need care and what the final diagnosis will be.

Doctors have been trying to make a diagnosis since Olsson was taken to hospital in Aarhus after he lost consciousness at his home on February 20.

Big kudos

Football Europe has recently shown its support for Olsson and his loved ones. When his club Midtjylland met FC Copenhagen in the Danish league on Friday, the game was paused after eight minutes played – Olsson’s shirt number – for a tribute at the arena in Herning.

For one minute, home players, visiting teams and supporters from both camps applauded the Swedish national team midfielder.
– It has been very difficult the last week. Everyone likes Kristoffer, he is an important person on the pitch and in the dressing room. He is loved, said the Swedish teammate Joel Andersson.

Copenhagen’s Swedish national team player Viktor Claesson knows Olsson well, not least after their time together in Russian Krasnodar a few years ago.
– It was nice there in the eighth minute when everyone stood together, Claesson said.

We are thinking of you, Kristoffer Olsson! ❤️
