Woke up one morning and couldn’t walk

Sophia Moore, a 13-year-old girl, woke up one morning with severe pain in her left hip. Later, realizing that she lost her ability to walk, the little girl was confused as to what to do. Undiagnosed for 10 years, Sophia Moore underwent 9 operations to find the cause of her pain. The reason for the sudden loss of movement remains a mystery, and the girl cannot move her legs.

“UNBELIEVABLE PAIN”

“It was incredibly sudden,” said Sophia Moore, now 23 and unable to walk for 10 years. He said the following about the event:

“The other day I was walking around a mall with my mom and trying on clothes and everything seemed fine. I’ve had incidents in the past where I had some kind of injury where the pain came on suddenly and always went pretty quickly, so I wasn’t too worried at first. But when it didn’t go away, my mom took me physically I can’t trust my body like other people and I’m in constant pain today. I have excruciating pain in my left leg. So I can’t walk and I need crutches to move around. No one knows why this is so. My symptoms, including the Institute of Dance and Sports Medicine are still being investigated at University College London Hospital, where they are trying to find the source of my pain and find a way to help reduce pain levels.

“I EXPERIENCED VARIOUS EMOTIONS”

During the last 10 years of my life, I have experienced a variety of emotions. They range from the hopeless to the hopeful, the submissive to the determined, the resentful to the resilient, the depressed to the excited, the petty to the confident, the fearful to the determined.
