By the end of the decade, the Army’s 200 Leclerc tanks will undergo a makeover. The Franco-German industrialist KNDS has started the renovation of armored vehicles in its factory in Roanne, in central France. The war in Ukraine has put battle tanks back at the center of the battlefield, so the French army wants to keep its Leclercs at the forefront of heavy armored vehicles.
