The illustrator shows for the first time how the son of Dr. Gero looks like in full body format

Son Goku gets to grips with Dr. Gero to do. The scientist not only turned himself into a cyborg, but also created many other robotic creatures. He gave two of the cyborgs the appearance of his wife and son. In a drawing by Toyotaro, the artist behind Dragon Ball Super, we see the son from head to toe for the first time.

Who is the son? The son of Dr. Gero and his wife Vomi are called Gevo. He was an elite soldier in the Red Ribbon Army during his lifetime. After his death, he served as the template for the Cyborg C16, so the appearance of the two is almost identical.

In the anime itself, Gevo has only been seen in one photo that showed him up to his chest. Thanks to a drawing by Toyotaro, we now know what the rest of the soldier looked like:

In the drawing, Gevo can be seen holding a rifle. He appears emaciated and weakened. His facial contours are more prominent than C16 and tendons are prominent on his hands. The picture shows how hard life as a soldier must have been.

The picture may show him shortly before his death. He supports himself on the weapon as if he were slowly losing his strength. His look doesn’t bode well either.

Where can you see the picture? The drawing was published as part of a special series that will be featured in Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine. This is the same magazine in which the Dragon Ball Super manga is published.

Dr. Gero was the creator of the cyborgs

Who was Dr. Gero? The scientist Dr. Gero was also part of the Red Ribbon Army and created over ten cyborgs throughout his career. Including C17 and C18, who were actually people at one time. For this reason, C18 can still have children.

He ordered C19, another creation of his, to perform an operation to also get out of Dr. Making Gero a cyborg. He only retained his brain as a human component, the rest became C20. This made him immortal.

What’s next for the Dragon Ball Super manga? The picture and the upcoming specials are intended to bridge the waiting time until the Dragon Ball Super manga is published. It is still unclear when exactly the next chapter will appear.

Finally, the Super Hero arc ended. In a final scene you could see Son Goku, Son Gohan and Piccolo picking up little Pan from kindergarten. It is up to Toyotaro how the story continues.
