During the round of 16 between Portugal and Slovakia in the soccer European Championship, there was obviously a lot of focus on the star player Cristiano Ronaldo. After 0-0 in regular time, the Portuguese got a golden chance to become a great match hero from the penalty spot.

Mocking Ronaldo

Because in live broadcast, a graphic had been inserted in the lower left corner with the words:
“Mistiano Penaldo”.

Raises the anger

Over the course of the night and into the morning, criticism has been hurled at the BBC and the vast majority are demanding a public apology, and that the person who made the graphics be fired. Many consider this to be extremely disrespectful towards Ronaldo, who often receives a lot of undeserved criticism and ridicule in the football world.
