Tero Vasell, who became Pyrinnö’s head coach in November, will continue at Pest until spring 2028.
Tampereen Pyrintö announces that it has signed a head coach Tero Vasellin with a four-year extension contract.
The contract is valid until spring 2028.
– First of all, I want to thank the club for their trust. It’s great to be able to work with both the Korisliiga team and the academy teams in the long term, Vasell commented on the extension contract in the press release.
Vasell became Pyrinnö’s head coach in November 2023 and has led the team to greater success after a difficult early season. Pyrintö has won six of the 11 matches coached by Vaselli.
According to Purinnö’s press release, the team has a chance to reach the playoffs under Vaselli’s leadership.
Pyrintö is currently ranked 10th in the men’s basketball league.
