A guard at the Israeli embassy in Belgrade was shot with a crossbow today. The arrow hit the guard in the neck.
The security guard shot the attacker, who was killed, according to the Serbian Ministry of the Interior.
The guard was taken to the hospital, where the arrow was removed from his neck.
The attacker’s identity and motive are being investigated.
Serbia has maintained good relations with Israel despite the war in Gaza.
