The government wants new arrivals in Sweden to undergo a compulsory course in social studies. The course will be called the Sweden course and it will end with an exam, reports Ekot.
– We believe that it is absolutely crucial for integration. If people are to have a chance in Sweden, and we want that, then you have to understand how Sweden works, says Labor Market and Integration Minister Johan Pehrson (L).
Such training was agreed upon by the governing parties and SD in the Tidö Agreement. Now it will be investigated how the education will be laid out.
