While we wait for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to formalize the name of his new film based on a video game (probably Call of Duty), we learn through variety that the game It Takes Two, voted game of the year 2021 at the Game Awards ceremony, will soon benefit from a film adaptation. The animation studio dj2 Entertainment inherited the project, which already has several projects in progress such as the animated series Tomb Raider, Little Nightmares, My Friend Pedro or the live-action movie Life is Strange . The creator of It Takes Two, Josef Farès, welcomes such a creation, he who attaches great importance to the story of his game which tells how two parents will be transformed into tiny dolls after their daughter Rose has cast a spell. They will then work together in a world that is now giant to them to find their daughter and break the spell. A sort of modern Minipouss, with dolls instead of the little half-human, half-mouse creatures. For now, this is only an announcement, no release date has been mentioned.
