There are many indications that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is on his way to the end of his football career.
Now comes new information about the 41-year-old that reveals the Swede’s future.

Recently did Zlatan Ibrahimovic long-awaited comeback for Milan when it was most needed before the league finals. The reigning champions are fighting for the last places in the Champions League and Zlatan’s experience in the dressing room and on the pitch will mean a lot.

But this spring could also very well be the star Swede’s very last as a professional footballer. The 41-year-old’s contract with Milan expires in the summer and most reports from Italy indicate that there will be no contract extension for “Ibra”.

Italian Calciomercato reports that Zlatan had a scheduled meeting with the sporting director Paolo Maldini, but it was however cancelled. Due to Zlatan sustaining a new injury which keeps him out of action further.

Therefore, a decision has been made to hold the meeting between Maldini and Ibrahimovic after the season, so that both parties have more time to evaluate the contract situation and get a better look at the future.
