“The German people will find out what kind of new Nazi leaders they raised” – the Russian media reacts to the news of tanks like fire

The German people will find out what kind of new

The war hawks on the Russian state television show the tanks promised by Germany and other countries as yet another proof that Russia is waging a war in Ukraine against the whole of NATO.

MOSCOW In Russia, the news about the deliveries of Western tanks to Ukraine was reacted to with the usual harsh words.

Presenter Vladimir Solovyov has made sure that there is no shortage of fiery war rhetoric.

On Tuesday, Solovyov already demanded strikes against Germany in its program “An evening with Solovyov” (you will switch to another service) on the state-owned Rossija-1 channel, when Media information predicts that Germany is inclined to deliver Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine.

– I think it is time to send a clear decisive signal that we consider Germany a party to the conflict and the appearance of German tanks unequivocally means that we consider German soil, military bases and others as legitimate targets, Solovyov declared.

He said that the German leadership was exposing its country to the ravages of war.

– And the German people will find out what kind of new Nazi leaders they raised and brought to power, Solovyov threatened.

Russian state channels for a long time, the programs have painted downright apocalyptic moods: Russia is fighting a battle for survival alone against the power of the entire military alliance, NATO.

According to the traditions of propaganda, the “Collective West” is both a huge enemy and a weak, clay-footed giant gnawed by its internal problems.

At the same time, viewers are reassured, that the tanks promised by the Western countries are not even of great importance to the events of the war.

– If the battlefield depended on a certain number of tanks in today’s conditions, I can assure you that already at the beginning of this military campaign, our western enemies would certainly have sent that amount of equipment to the field a long time ago, commander of the Chechen Ahmat special forces Aptyi Alaudinov assured in the 60 minutes program (you switch to another service).

He guessed that under the current conditions tanks would not be brought to the front before spring.

As before, official Russia blames the West for accelerating the crisis.

Germany’s dark past is a mental assault weapon. Russian ambassador to Germany Sergei Nechaev wrote in a statement (you will switch to another service)that by supplying tanks, Germany is denying its responsibility for Nazism’s crimes against the Russian people in World War II.

President Vladimir Putin in turn ponder (you switch to another service) that US forces in Germany are still legally and de facto occupation forces.

Diplomat in Vienna Konstantin Gavrilov warned Western countries not to give Ukraine ammunition containing depleted uranium along with tanks.

According to RIA Novosti (you will go to another service) Gavrilov said Russia would consider using this equivalent “dirty bomb” against Russian forces.
