One million Swedes have already tested their opinions in Aftonbladet’s election compass, and interest is increasing all the time.

– Now the electoral spurt is underway and it is really noticeable, says Titti Jersler, project manager.

On Sunday, there are only two weeks left until the election.

This can be seen in the interest in the Electoral compass that Aftonbladet has produced.

– Right now it is made by 10,000 readers every day and last week we reached one million made compasses, says Titti Jersler, project manager at Aftonbladet.

In the compass, by answering 30 questions, you can get answers to which party you match best with.

This is the third election in a row that Aftonbladet has produced its own compass. Ahead of this election, Aftonbladet has introduced an explanatory text so that readers can read and learn more about it before taking a stand.

Uses expert group

The electoral compass has been produced by Aftonbladet’s editorial development team together with the University of Gothenburg and the political site Altinget.

– It is fun to see that so many of our visitors who start doing the Electoral Compass answer all 30 questions, and then explore the results, says Titti Jersler.

A difference to other tests is that Aftonbladet uses an expert group that asks the parties about the answers, but there is also an own review of where they stand. The reason is that parties can otherwise give answers that they think are popular so they get more matches.
