Like every Monday, we went to check if the SELL and the GfK institute have updated their data on game sales in France. They did not fail in their weekly task by revealing the ranking of the 5 games that marked Week 48, the one that corresponds to sales made between November 28, 2022 and December 4, 2022. Unsurprisingly, we find the Pokémon Violet duo and Pokémon Scarlet which is holding up quite well, despite the bugs which continue to question the technical quality of the game. Just behind, it is a certain The Callisto Protocol which climbs directly to third place, also finger for its somewhat dented PC version. FIFA 23 remains a safe bet as Christmas approaches and we find it in fourth position. Suddenly Mario Kart 8 Deluxe takes fifth place.
On PC, it’s football that dominates the whole thing, with sales devoted to Football Manager 2022 coming out of nowhere and climbing directly to the top of the rankings. As curious as it may seem, the second place is occupied by Football Manager 2023, that of this year, while we find Farming Simulator 22 in third place in the ranking.
