1. The Flash trailer shows DC hero’s new costume

In a shot of The Flash’s second trailer, we see both Barrys standing to the left and right of Supergirl. While the leftist Justice League superhero wears the well-known comic book costume, the current preview shows the other Barry’s heavier The Flash suit for the first time.

Not only does it look like a thicker version, it’s almost certainly a modified version of Michael Keaton’s Batman suit! A closer look at the Flash logo on the chest reveals that painted over an easily recognizable Batman emblem became. The upcoming DC blockbuster will probably explain how the suit came about.

2. The Flash trailer teases surprising villain

As for the plot of the DC film, what is known so far is that Barry will go back in time to undo his mother’s death. In doing so, he opens a multiverse that confuses the events of the DC timeline. So far, however, it is not yet clear who will be the big villain in The Flash.

The second trailer for the blockbuster again shows individual scenes in which Barry is attacked with lightning and electric shocks or tortured. According to one theory, it could the other Barry Allen in The Flash as the big villain turn out. In the trailer, it is briefly implied that he disagrees with Barry’s plan from the correct timeline.

Michael Keaton’s Batman in The Flash! | My thoughts on the trailer

This could allow him to Dark Flash or Reverse Flash develop from the comic template. In the Flashpoint comic, Reverse Flash is the archenemy of the titular character and is responsible for the murder of his mother. The upcoming The Flash movie is definitely based on Flashpoint and could hide the villain behind the second Barry Allen.

3. Supergirl arguably irons out Superman’s trauma while fighting Zod

Superman is characterized as a superhero by not killing anyone. Zack Snyder broke that tenet for Man of Steel back when he played Henry Cavill’s titular villain Zod in the finale kill as a last resort.

In the latest The Flash trailer, Michael Shannon’s antagonist returns to the DC Multiverse, this time battling Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl. A scene in the preview shows him being smashed away by the heroine. The moment already indicates the character’s victory over Zod.

As observed by Screen Rant, this victory suggests that Supergirl has the Redoing the desperate act of Cavill’s DC heroes could. By only defeating but not killing the villain, Kara escapes Man of Steel’s traumatic fate.

The Flash will be in our cinemas from June 15, 2023.
