Ulf MazurCEO and founder of Matpriskollen, believes that the change is due to increased pressure from both producers and stores.
– It is not what you wanted to see at the beginning of the year. But now there is pressure from both producers and stores for increased prices, says Mazur.
Many stores had already had to raise their prices in 2023, but have not managed to get the increases through. Mazur believes that the stores are now taking the step towards high prices, and that this is only the beginning.
