Thailand eases covid rules for tourists

Travelers will soon not have to register for trips to Thailand. And once in place, you will not have to walk around in a mouth guard.

The number of covid cases in the country is decreasing and the government has decided to lift restrictions that apply to people coming from abroad.

Oral protection has been a requirement in the public sector since the middle of last year, when the delta variant of the coronavirus spread at a rapid pace. In the future, it will be recommended in places where many people are in circulation.

As of July 1, entrants will no longer have to register with the Thai authorities with proof of vaccination and health insurance. However, you will need to show a vaccine certificate or get tested on arrival.

More than three-quarters of Thailand’s population have received two vaccine injections. Just over 40 percent have also received a third dose.
