According to the organizers, they would be at least 30,000 to march to the heart of the European district of the Belgian capital, coming from all over Belgium to defend the climate.

Florence came to parade under the colors of social justice. For her, the poorest will be the first to pay the price of climate change: “ Everyone is acting on their own level, but it’s time for civil disobedience and greater action to take center stage. »

Lou is 11 years old and she and her mother are regulars at the protests. For her, defending the climate is defending human rights:

I always follow the demonstrations with my mum, because I don’t want there to be no more trees! I like trees, I like nature and I don’t want there to be nothing left. I find that the climate is the most important manifestation.

Succession is assured and the demonstrators this Sunday hope that their mobilization will be heard during COP27 in Sharm el-Sheikh, in two weeks.
