A conflict in the Stockholm area resulted in several shootings this summer. At the same time, the riding team believes that another murder was planned – on a football player in an all -Swedish club.
Recently, the indictment came against two teenage boys, which are suspected of several crimes in connection with both the shootings and the murder plans. In the same investigation, the football player is charged with minor abuse against one of the boys.
Player: “We cheated a bit with each other”
This summer, the football player will follow with a friend after one of the now prosecuted teenage boys. When they caught the boy, the football player abused the boy by beating him with an open palm on his face, according to the indictment.
– I followed him and then when I got down there, when he thumbed up at me, we cheated a little with each other. And then I got mad at him, I gave he an ear file, that’s what happened, says the football player in interrogation.
The football player’s friend, who was involved in the suspected abuse, is identified by the police as a leading person in a criminal group in the Stockholm area.
– I say he is the driving figure in that constellation, says prosecutor Daniel Insulander.
Shortly after the suspected abuse, a gunfire occurred in the area.
In chats, the teenage boy described how he was “catched by some older” and got ear files. He also wrote that he is doing well and that someone then fired three shots against the brothers to those who abused him. The goalkeeper in that shooting is a little brother to the football player’s friend who was present at the abuse.
Charged for murder plans against the football player
The same night as the abuse happened, the boy began to forge murder plans against the football player, says the prosecutor. When the football player was heard as a witness by the police, he was informed that it was believed that a act of violence was planned against him.
– I think this is that I am a target, I think it sounds really strange. Because I have not, I do not want to be mixed with such people, says the football player in interrogation.
After the boy was beaten, he got the name of the football player sent to him. He sent the name directly to his friend, who then searched the football player on the internet, saved his address and pictures of him from Instagram. A video from the boy’s seized mobile phone shows how a person with a charged gun moves at the football player’s address.
In the police’s assessment of the situation picture in the area, it is written that the football player is friends with people from a criminal group, but that you do not know if he is criminally active or not. He has also been observed together with the man who is identified by the police as a leader within the criminal group.
– It has been a little hot situation but I, I do not think I am in any conflict. I play my football, I go to training, I go home. I invest in my football to one hundred percent and I want nothing else, says the football player in interrogation.
Boy was murdered days after the abuse
Two days after the abuse of the boy, a boy was shot to death in the area. The boy who was beaten by the football player and his friend is now being charged with involvement in the murder, the shooting and the murder plans against the football player.
According to the police, it is unclear if the victim in the death shoot was active criminal, but he was friends with people in the same criminal group in which the football player’s friend had a leading role in.
The police believe that there was a conflict in the area, where the local criminals are loyal with Rawa Majid’s side in the conflict with the Dalen Network. The prosecutor believes that the two boys who are now being charged with involvement in the murder and the murder plans have been loyal to the opponent’s side.
The boy’s friend is charged with murder, serious weapons crime, attempted murder and preparation for murder. The boy who was beaten by the football player must have conveyed the murder contract to his friend, according to the prosecutor and is charged with the instigation of murder, assisting with serious weapons crime and preparation for murder.
Club Answer: There is no threat to the player
TV4 News has been in contact with the player’s club that answers in a statement.
“We gained knowledge of two ongoing legal processes on Friday, where a player in the association is a defendant in one and defended in the other. The association follows the legal processes and supports the player concerned, ”the club writes.
Furthermore, they state that they had a close dialogue with security personnel, the Police Authority, the Swedish Football Association and that a decision was made after consultation with them.
“The association’s assessment is that there is no threat to the player and that the player can continue to represent the team,” the club writes.
