Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Tactical Takedown Announced

Strange Scaffold has announced TMNT: Tactical Takedown, a new turn-based strategy game set in the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series.

Developed by Strange Scaffold, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tactical Takedown will be released for PC (Steam) in 2025. The game brings a new perspective to the world of Ninja Turtles with a bold take inspired by the classic cartoon.

Splinter and Shredder Are Dead, Turtles Enter Adulthood

In the game’s story, Splinter and Shredder are dead, and as the turtles grow into adulthood, they not only grow up, but also grow apart from each other. Players will fight against the Foot Clan in campaigns focused on each turtle. It will be necessary to destroy enemies in 20 levels inspired by classic TMNT games, which grow, shrink and add new threats with each round.

TMNT: Tactical Takedown takes an innovative approach to turn-based fighting games. Players will experience a unique combat experience with customizable move sets where they can shape each turtle’s play style. The game looks visually impressive with its graphic novel-inspired art style, paint splatter effects, figurines and diorama scenes. The multi-genre soundtrack by award-winning composer RJ Lake further strengthens the atmosphere of the game.

Strange Scaffold founder Xalavier Nelson Jr. stated that creating a strong licensed game requires respect for the source material, love for the fans, and a willingness to push the universe in ways that surprise and delight. Paramount Games manager Doug Rosen stated that working with the Strange Scaffold team was an incredible experience and that he believed that Xalavier’s vision would exceed expectations.
