Teenage girl threatens to stab crew members of plane forced

A 16-year-old woman had angry outbursts during a flight from Turkey to Great Britain. Threatening passengers and staff, the plane had to make an emergency landing in Italy. The cause of his irritation: a little girl who was sneezing.

It was quite a nervous breakdown with consequences that could have been dramatic. An EasyJet flight departing for London (England) from Antalya (Turkey) was forced to make an emergency landing in Bari (Italy) due to the behavior of one of the passengers. According to the English media The Suna 16-year-old girl lost her temper at a little girl who was sneezing. According to a passenger who confided in our British colleagues, “while a little girl went to the toilet, the teenager followed her. She had outbursts of anger, saying ‘Stop bothering me!’, and She didn’t want to let her out.”

Even after the little girl’s mother intervened, the teenager continued to lose her temper and started yelling at her. The crew members had to intervene, but the young woman lost her temper even more.

An emergency landing

After being asked to sit down again, the teenager insulted the crew members and threatened to open the plane door. “She was surrounded by all the crew members, but one of them tried to calm her down. She started screaming and threatened to stab a crew member,” the passenger continued.

“Flight EZY855, from Antalya to London Gatwick, was diverted to Bari and was met by police after landing due to disruptive behavior by a passenger on board,” read a statement to The Independent. However, other passengers will not receive any compensation for this setback. Indeed, the company provides for incidents that are attributable to it, but this one was only caused by a female passenger. EasyJet nevertheless specifies that it has organized hotels and meals for passengers and announces that the costs incurred will be reimbursed.
