In documents from the Lund district court, it appears that a young person is suspected of the crimes, which Helsingborgs Dagblad was the first to report on.
The documents also show that it is a female suspect.
The young person’s legal assistant, Cecilia Johnsson, confirms to TT that the person is under 15 years of age and states that her client is not deprived of liberty.
That’s right. You are not deprived of your liberty if you are under 15, she says.
It was just after midnight on Tuesday that a police patrol found a lifeless woman outdoors during a routine patrol. The police started resuscitation and were then assisted by paramedics – but the woman’s life could not be saved. After an hour and a half, she was pronounced dead at the hospital.
It is severe violence against the body that has been used, Kenth Pehrsson, head of investigations for serious crimes in Helsingborg, has previously told TT.
The woman, who according to the police was between 25 and 35 years old, has not yet been identified. Pehrsson has previously stated that the woman was missing ID when she was found.
We didn’t find anything at the actual crime scene that allowed us to confirm the identity, but that’s something we’re working hard on right now.
