A man in his 20s has been arrested and detained on suspicion of raping a teenage girl in Nyköping.
The girl is under 18 years of age and the crime is said to have taken place in a public toilet in a recreation area on Saturday night, according to the police.
The victim raised the alarm herself with the help of private individuals she met after the incident. The suspected crime scene was cordoned off and until midnight the police were on site with technicians and special search dogs.
The man must have been unknown to the girl.
