At around 18.45 on Saturday, there was an alarm that several people had been shot in Hovsjö in Södertälje. One is seriously injured, according to information to SVT. Three people have been arrested and according to the police, it may be a deal between criminal networks.
Satu, the mother of three, has lived in the area for many years. Her son was at a party when the shooting took place.
– You get worried when you have your own children of the same age, she says.
“Hope he’s not dead!”
According to Satu, a film in which one of those who were shot is lying on the ground has started to spread and reached the young people at the party.
– They shouted “No, I hope he hasn’t died!”
The children did not want to go out
She finds it unpleasant that it happens so early in the evening.
– The children are usually outside then. My children said yesterday that they never want to go out and don’t want to go to school, she says.
Kenny Pettersson was at home when the shooting occurred.
– It was loud. I heard them screaming, he says.
– It gets anxious, you go here every night. It can happen to anyone.
“Difficult to understand and take in”
What do you think about the fact that it is young people who are affected?
– I think it is difficult to understand and get it in. It just gets worse and worse, says Kenny Pettersson.
