A teenage boy has been stabbed in Malmö at around 8pm on Saturday, writes Sydsvenskan.
The injured boy has been taken by ambulance to hospital, according to the newspaper.
Region Skåne states on its website that the boy is being treated for minor injuries.
The police have arrested a boy of the same age who is suspected of the crime.
The incident that occurred on Värnhemstorget is being investigated as attempted murder.
The police tell Sydsvenskan that the stabbing was not preceded by any major altercation.
– That is not our hypothesis. But it is these two who have been involved in what happened, says police spokesperson Rickard Lundqvist.
