The accident occurred at 21.30 in connection with a car colliding with a moped.
The motorist, a man in his 40s, fled the scene but was later arrested after he also collided with a bus.
– A security guard followed the car and was able to handcuff the driver until the police arrived at the scene, says Lars Stevelind, officer on duty at the rescue service, to the news agency TT.
The police now announce that a 15-year-old boy died and a girl of the same age was seriously injured in connection with the accident.
A preliminary investigation into grossly causing the death of another, grossly causing bodily harm and drugged driving has been initiated.
