A person is said to have witnessed the incident and alerted the police shortly before 12:30 on Friday. The boy is said to have wet heavily and was checked by paramedics at the scene before he was taken to hospital.
– According to the witness, it was a passing man who attacked the boy with a stick, says police spokesperson Magnus Jansson Klarin.
Whether the boy attends high school is currently unclear.
The police are investigating the incident as an assault, but no suspect has yet been detained.
