In the month of November, an average of 931 Russians have been killed or injured daily in the war against Ukraine. This is stated by the British Ministry of Defense on X (formerly Twitter), referring to the General Staff of the Ukrainian forces.

It is probably the highest figure so far during the war, according to the Ministry of Defense.

The previous highest number reported was in May this year, when Russia was losing an estimated 776 people per day.

The information has not been able to be verified but is “credible”, writes the Ministry of Defense further.

Most of the deaths are reported to have occurred near the frontline town of Avdijivka in southeastern Ukraine.
