Tars Bennis (74) has been selling almost his entire train collection in his own pop-up store since this week. For fifty years, the Leersummer saved everything that had to do with trains: from conductor’s shirts to crockery and from his complete model railway to the complete DVD series of Rail Away. His wife Hanny (72) helps with the sale of his life’s work: “He finds it very difficult, but there was no other way”.
