At home, Tampere’s Tappara won Kouvola’s KooKoo with goals 4–2. The rising TPS covered the Pelicans’ away with Pärssinen’s overtime score of 2–1.

Tappara took his ninth consecutive home win in the hockey league on Thursday in Tampere. Tappara, third in the league table, defeated KooKoon 4–2.

The rarity of the match was that Tappara scored all of his four goals in special situations: two in the underpower game, one in the penalty shootout and one in the overpower.
