Ässät has signed a one-year contract extension with Rubin.
Goalkeeper Niklas Rubin will stay at Pori Ässi. The club has signed a one-year contract extension with the Swedish goalkeeper.
– Rubin’s extension contract is a great example of Ässie’s increasing appeal and thanks to the entire puck community in Pori, when a player of this level wants to continue his third season here, says Ässie’s sports director in the press release Janne Vuorinen.
Niklas Rubin arrived in Pori last season and has become one of the top goaltenders in the Norwegian Hockey League.
– I have felt welcome here from the very first day. We have a goalkeeper coach James Rosendahl excellent cooperation with and I enjoy our everyday work, he says in the press release.
Rubin also thanks the Ässie supporters.
– That’s one of the reasons why I wanted to continue here.
